Out of pure curiosity I would like to know what religion, if any, I would classified under.I grew up Catholic until I was 10 or 11, and then a couple of years later tried going to a Christian church, but it just didn't feel right.

I believe in God strongly, and that he has a lot of power, but sometimes I wonder. Not about His existence, just that he might not be quite sure of what He's doing. The I think of a quote that says "If you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all." I guess that kind of restores my faith that He has an inkling of what He's doing.

I think that Jesus was an important figure in history, but sometimes I wonder if he's been built up through the ages to be more than he was. As for the Bible, I don't think it's much more than a historical reference, and a nice guide as to how to live your life in a good way, but other than that, I don't think the people who wrote it had any divine help.

So, based on my beliefs, what would I be?

Oh, and at the moment I don't consider myself any religion, just spiritual. I also try to live life according to the morals that I feel are right. I don't pick on or laugh at people, I hate to see others in any kind of pain, and I try to be as nice as possible, with a positive outlook on life (as positive as I can be anyway).

OK
If it were my goal to pidgeon hole you, I would.
What you might consider?
Start a serious search with the purpose of finding the truth.
1. Pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for guidance to the wisdom of God's truth.
2. Begin reading the Bible.
To get the most out of your search, use a Strong's Exhaustive
Concordance and KJV along with whatever other translation
you might prefer. Check key words using the KJV amd S E C
to learn more about what the original writers meant.
(Often,English does not do the scriptures justice!).
3. Try to not race through the words. Try to start seeing the BIG
picture as God see's it.

If you do this, you will notice that, say, regarding Jesus, there is much reference to his and his disciples preaching, teaching, and the seriousness with which they comported themselves in these activities.
Also, you will begin to see the history of mankind from God's viewpoint, that ancient history to us is really not that ancient at all.
(:-o)
Then after this decide what to call yourself.
This may take several months, but the results might astonish you!

If you were baptized Catholic, you remain Catholic today. You choose not to attend church based on your personal belief. Your other beliefs do not impact your standing as Catholic because you have seen the hypocrisy of religion and decided that the hypocrisy didn't fit your personal beliefs.

Remember that the word church comes from the greek, kyrios, which means Lord. A church is also an assembly of those who believe in the Word.

St. Thomas did not believe that the Lord Jesus rose from the dead and the Lord Jesus commented that "Blessed are those who have seen and believed and blessed are those who have not seen and believed."

Perhaps Eastern Orthodoxy may suit your belief system more than Catholicism.

I hate labels… but if I had to put one on you: I would say you are a lapsed Catholic/Agnostic… It sounds at present as though your not sure what you/to believe: and that you need to do some study for yourself into the subject!!

As you sound to be coming from the Christian ‘God’ point of view… rather than say, ‘Islam’… this site may help you seek out some of the answers you need, to help you make your personal ‘Choice’!!

Religion is a personal choice. And since you haven't made that choice, then I wouldn't consider you to be of any religion. To do so would be to put my beliefs on you.

I belong to church, but I do not belong to a religion. I am spiritual, but not religious.
