Although you fall in the age requirement, the high bp would keep you out of the Army. You can't join if you rely on medicine. You'd be considered a very high risk.

Maybe not high blood pressure, but your age sure will. You cannot be older than 34 years old to join.

yes high blood pressure as a pre-existing condition is an automatic disqualifier

This is just a guess but I'd say yes. If you need meds to control your BP it would probably make you ineligible to enlist.

Your best bet is to talk to the recuriter. They will set you up with an appointment to see if you can be cleared to join or not.
