Walk up just like she is any other person in this world, have no expectations, just smile and say "let's go out on fri, sat or sunday.
Here's clue, do not take her to a movie, unless you are 8.
You need to take her somewhere you can talk and get to know about her. Listen to what she's interested in and just make comments on that. Don't talk about what you like, unless she asks you.

well do you know her?
if thats the case
then become her friend
her brother, her confidant
if you dont know her, then become a friend of one of her best friends, then bcome her friend
develop a relationship that relies on trust and help
by doing sp, you become her brother, and just go for it
summon youre courage, ask her out, but most importantly, be yourself
if you cant, you lose your friends
your friends matter more than any girl in the world, trust me, I've gone through this torture

You say "do wanna go out sometime? I will pay and I am not cheap...?" If she says yes then you ask "what night is good for you?" See it is that simple, the worst that can happen is that she says "no"

Walk up to the girl, ask her if she's free someday and ask her if she wanted to _____. You fill in the blank...if she says "no", you weren't ment to be, and just keep you're head up, if she says "yes", then, GOODLUCK!

invite her to something you know she's interested in.(she might think you have the same interest)And it might smooth out the whole thing and it'll be easier to ask her out.
