I grew up with a friend who was Mormon. I went to church with them, did summer plays with thier youth group, went to dances. (my family was agnostic and my parents didnt really care if I hung out with strict Mormons, that is, they didnt feel threatened that I was going to "join up"). They were the nicest group of people as I remember. Very modest, healthy in their lifestyle and family oriented. I learned a lot about relationships and healthy living by hanging our with them. I was never enticed by the gobbldigook "religious" part. that was too far out of my realm to ever take seriously.

Mormons are people just like everybody else, but the beliefs are not what the Bible tells us and that is a bit strange. God is perfect correct? The Bible is perfect... correct? Why make another book? And why are there so many contradictions in the teachings of LDS church? Secret handshakes and names to get into heaven? The Bible tells us what we need to do to get into heaven....... no mention of a secret handshake and name to be given before you enter heaven. BTW Mormons believe there are 3 heavens.

I will tell you that I am friends with a mormon family and they are wonderful people! The mother (my firend) says its hard to talk to anyone in her church for she will be judged and she comes and talks to me.

I appreciate that they take a stand on modesty, though I don't think there's much else in common, I don't know any personally, only 2 who used to be and are now of my faith, and they are both nice people. One is my mother-in-law, the other a family friend. God looks at our hearts, we can only see the outside.

I've studied it, and still do not understand why Mormons believe it. The people are friendly and intelligent, but I still do not see how they can believe everything. I suppose it is just faith, like I have faith in my Lutheran/protestant beliefs.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to search the subject, and I am not a person to accept what others regurgitate about a topic, since the main essence of the topic, in most cases, gets lost.

However, regardless what is your faith, hence why you are asking this question, remember that according to God's words in various religious books, non of us has a right to make judgment on any other person regardless of his/her faith, race, actions, etc. God is the only one who may judge any of of the human beings.

"Mormons" is referring to to members, that's like asking what do you think of humankind. The Church and it's doctrines however are wonderful, true, and of God! Thus is why i am a very active member.

Nice people, but like all other false religions they are deceived, and bound for an eternity in Hell. Unless they repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

I think they are incredibly nice people that, unfortunately, follow a false prophet and a false gospel.

Have you heard about the book of Abraham? I mean...it's kinda hard to believe.

But just my opinion,
