I would guess it's Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Try and find a doctor that specializes in that. They might just recommend you to take a lot of B vitamins. Or not...either way, it would be in your best interest to see a doctor. And don't fall for the BS of them saying you're depressed because being sleepy all the time is different from being depressed. Anyone that's dealt with both of these knows they're different, especially with how tired you are from your description.

Truthfully a doctor is the best place to get this answer from, that said there are several reasons you could be doing this from the simple of not eating or excerising correctly to the possiblities of sleep apnea, (this is where you stop breathing in your sleep thereby not getting enough oxygen and are constaly tired and falling asleep) naralepsy (you just fall alseep for no reason) or CHF where you are always tired and havent done anything to get that way! Trust me the lst one sucks I have that, my husband has sleep apnea. Nither of which is something you want to go through with out proper medical advise and care. Please speak t a doctor to find out if you can just maybe do something like take a multi-vitamin or go jogging or if it is more serious ok?

The same thing used to happen to me. It's most likely not about you not getting enough sleep, but here are some solutions:
1. take iron pills, this will increase the iron in your bloodstream and in turn give you more energy
2. cut down of sugary foods, it may make you hyper for a short time, but in the long run only tires you out
3. excersize a TON more, before you sleep and when you wake up mainly
If these tips don't work, then it might be that you have a sleep disorder in which you wake up many times in you sleep for short periods of time because you stop breathing, it's all subconcious, so you're unaware, but it still has the same tiring effects.

There are several things that could be causing this. The best thing is go to your doc and get blood work done. Some of the things that cause excessive tiredness and sleeping all the time are: thyroid problem, fibro-myalgia, mononucleosous, blood cells not balanced, sleep apnea, not getting deep sleep, out of balance hormones, many many things can cause these symptoms. Look up your symptoms at Merck.com or WebMD.com. Whatever you do----go get a blood test.

I use to do the same thing... couldnt sit in a chair without falling asleep. My parents were afraid to let me get my drivers license cause I couldnt stay awake in the car. Have your thyroid checked. I have to take a pill now everyday and OH how it makes a difference. Get to the doctor, its just a simple blood test. stop wasting your life away asleep...

Do some freaking work. And eat better too. Cut out the candy and sugar crap. Eat healthy food, no pop, and other things. Also be sure to get exercise. This keeps your body awake because it will help you to create more energy out of the fat that you build up while you eat those sugar things.

If you're not eating meat you should check a vegan store for a good supplement. I would also consider some blood work and don't forget to inform them about your diet. I was eating apples and peanut butter for awhile.

you are getting toooooo much sleep. 14 hours is way to much sleep per night. try taking an afternoon or early evening walk. start exercising. this will increase your metabolism and you won't be so tired all the time.

if you aren't taking a multivitamin that dissolves in water in about 1/2 hour or less than that is the problem and it takes a few days to get into your system once you start.better than cigs for the nerves too
