The Alto Cleft is for violas, the most unloved stringed instrument. Ever.

I need video game sheet music for the alto cleft, and none of this harmony stuff. DumDumDum gets boring after 500 bow movements. I want the melody, please.

You might try theviolasite.com Now-a-days, anything that you can get for other stringed instruments, you can get for the viola. (and the melody is available.) Try putting in a search on Amazon.com or eBay for the music you are looking for. I haven't seen any video game music out yet for any stringed instruments, but if it is out there, those 2 sites are likely to have it.

hey I'm a composer and I could arrange some for you if I know the music...

EDIT: The alto clef is known as the C clef and has middle C on the middle line. Only the viola uses it.

Definitely try: Halo zelda Mario bros. ( a surprising twist from standard video game music) Once agin: Halo. Also try something "Star wars " related. There are several Star Wars games out there now. Have fun!

I've heard of only three music clefs used in notation: the G or treble clef, the F or bass clef, and the C clef, which is often used for sopranos.

The alto clef is something new to me. Would someone care to educate me on this?

Added note: Walter E., thanks for the tip. I stand corrected; there is an alto clef.

Just move it into the alto clef...if you are moving from treble clef...if it is on a space...move it to the line below it....if it's on a line..move it to the space below it.
