I dont believe so. As long as you have accepted Jesus into your life and believe that he died for our sins.

Pete, I love this question. Lets think this out. If someone calls himself a huge baseball fan and never goes to a baseball game, doesn't know the name of the players, doesn't know the stats, would you believe that he was a "real" baseball fan. Probably not. I used to feel someone could be a lone ranger Christian but the longer I am a Christian, I realize that Jesus did not just die for the individual, he died for the corporate body of the church believers - the body of Christ. Now, when we look at our body, we don't say that just our arm is our body but we look at the entire physical being. There is a book out called "How to Stay a Christian". The author says that one can be a good person if he doesn't go to church but he can't be a true Christian if he doesn't go to church. Not going shows a lack of interest in being with others of same faith, hearing the word of God preached and serving others in the body. That speaks volumes. We should realize that in heaven, it is the "church" that we will be spending eternity with, not our unsaved friends and acquaintances and we should feel a tremendous amount of affection for them and want to spend time with them. Bottom line, when someone doesn't show any interest in church, he is either a very "ignorant" immature Christian or he isn't one at all but a "pretender". Remember, our actions speak louder than our words.

You do well to believe in GOD,the bibles says the demons believe and tremble. It's about having a personal relationship with HIM not what you do.Though when you ask HIM into you're heart to be you're personal LORD and Savior the things you do will change cause HE'S living in you changing you from the inside out.
Being good or going to church doesn't get you into heaven, only what JESUS did on the cross for you and me does.

The only way to get to Heaven is to believe in Jesus 100% and accept him as your Savior.
Nothing else is required although we are commanded to be baptized, to go to church, to give tithes, etc. Not doing those things will not keep you out of Heaven, but you should do them anyway if you truly love your Lord.

If you believe in God, the only Creator, in whatever name you call it (e.g., God, Lord, Allah, etc.), regardless of your membership to any of religion categorizations [e.g., Christian (any of the Christianity groups, including Gnostic), Judaism (including its various categories such as Kabal), Islam, Baha'i. Zen, Buddhism, etc.] you should feel God within you, as you are part of him. Thus I am sure you understand that God stands for Peace and Love (unconditional Love). Therefore, you don't need to go to any special building (e.g., Church, Masque, Synagogue, etc.) to be accepted by God. You can Communicate with him any where, in your home, when you are driving or walking.
And if you love him with your soul and from the bottom of your heart, you should not fear him that if you don't go to church, he would punish you (sent to hell, if you believe in hell). You never can Love someone/something, if you expect a return/reward. That only is a sign of fear, hence an immature soul.
So, Communicate with your Creator/God anywhere, and you will hear the response back.

Just because you are saved doesn't mean you can't fall away from God.
In fact, when you are saved is when the devil really steps up the pressure on you to constantly try to interfere with your relationship with and rip you away from God.
Going to church keeps us right with the Lord, gives us a community of believers to have communion with and makes us a productive member of God's community when we give of our time, talents and tithes.
Read the Book of Malachi where God says that all that you give God will be returned back to you according to His riches in Heaven......not according to your needs or the riches of the earth but according to His riches in Heaven.
That is so much more than we can ever give to God but He gives to us because He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins so that there need never be any further seperation between Him and us.
How many of you would sacrifice your child for the sake of those who have shunned you, walked away and forgotten you as so many of us have?
We may not belive in God, but what would we do if God no longer believed in us?
We constantly forget about God but expect Him to be there for us when we are in times of trouble and call on Him for help.
Why should He be there for us if we aren't there for Him?
Think about it.

Yes, because if you are truly following the correct path, it would mean you have been revealed the true God is God the Father the Creator; God the Son, our Lord and Savior; and God the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life.
This would imply that you have had enough sense to have been baptized, meaning you have allowed the Lord to give you a new heart and new spirit and let the Holy Spirit guide you in your ways. If so, then you should be led to commune with your brothers and sisters in Christ, which is the basic definition of church (all those who are followers of Christ).
James wrote about this in the second chapter of his epistle. Speaking about how one with faith does the works of Christ (in other words, is guided by the Spirit) and that those who do not are not justified, specifically giving the example of the demons and the devil.
James 2
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. 19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. 20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend. 24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. 25In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead

I believe in God, but the problem is that I don't believe in "God's laws" made by man. I think that as long as you are generally good to all God's creatures you are going to go to heaven.

No. Jesus said and I paraphrase because I don't recall exact wording---Where two or more gather in my name, there too, I shall be. Unfortunately, many churches have become social events for people and I prefer to be alone when I worship and do it earnestly. I don't care to or feel the need to impress anyone with public affection of God, but then, I'm a very private person. He knows my heart and your...

Going to church doesn't get you into Heaven.
Only through Jesus Christ can one get into Heaven "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Following God and His commandments, believing in Him and accepting Him as your saviour, repentance of sins.
Not going to church ;)
Going to church is only to strengthen your knowledge of the Bible and faith in God.
I don't go to church, I read the Bible on my own, but I am going to heaven :)
