You dear sweet balding old man, of course a pastor must like a dog since dog is god backwards. A cat is a tac so it doesn't count. Gods bless your ancient soul.

No he can't. My husband is a Pastor, and he likes the horses better than the cat or dog, and he can't be trusted either.

Treating animals equally is not equivalent to treating people equally.
While I'm a gnu person myself, I understand the reasons why people enjoy having the distant relative of a lion roaming their home, ever alert as it seems to be resting on window sills, and pouncing on intrusive rodents.
