I've never met a prostitute but I'm sure it has to do with psychology.

1. "most prostitutes are ugly" because if they're prostitutes in the first place they obviousely have no self-respect or self-esteem. When you lack this you lose interest in your appearance. Also most prostitutes are drug users. Meth and heroine, crack, etc. cause an increase in aging and darken the eyes. People who are always high can have a peice of dog feces and not even notice it or care.

2. People go with hookers not because they're attractive or desirable but because of the rush of having sex with a stranger. The only guys that have sex with an attractive stranger are people like Johnny Depp but even he might want a skanky hooker because it's dirty. You can do what ever you want with a hooker and not feel shameful because they have the most shame for allowing you to do it.

I don't think I know any prostitutes, so I cannot comment on their beauty or lack thereof. But there are certainly a myriad of reasons why men use them. They like the dirty aspect of it, perhaps the chance of getting caught. Aren't getting the nasty stuff they crave at home, and it is available on the street. Feel the need to debase themselves, etc.

not all prostitutes are ugly. have you ever heard of "The Bunny Ranch" in Nevada? Its' a legal prostitution house and the females there are not ugly and get paid thousands of dollars a week. check it out

Actually Death, I have to disagree....I've seen some decent-looking prostitutes before, but they're usually not the of the crack ho variety.

Now, if you want to spend a little more, you can get an escort. Think of an escort as a higher class of prostitute.

2 reasons mainly.....The pretty ones that have sex for money do porn or are strippers/dancers. Secondly, most prostitute for drug money, and drugs dont keep you looking your best. I hear they do this for the "thrill" (theguys). Anyhow, its kind of nasty either way. There HAS TO BE a better way to make a living.

My guess would be that they are "ugly" because they lead very rough lives. Most crack addicts generally look a little rough around the edges. The people that choose to pay them for sex are obviously desperate and lonely as hell. And pretty much loser-ish.
