Where on the LES is it listed? at the bottom in the remarks section or the entitlements??
I think the best answer I can give you is that the SM WAS AWOL ant then it either "cahnged " back to non-AWOL or droped from ranks, is there money still getting payed? if so the first is more likely if not then the later is your answer.

either the person is now considered AWOL because they are not where they are supposed to be or they were gone and now they have come back to active duty. Either way, that person will start getting paid again or their pay will be suspended.

it prolly means that someones duty stat has changed from prest for duty to awol or from awol to pfd

it means you were probably AWOL from the military, and it needs to be changed.

I would think that person was deemed Absent With Out Leave and the earnings have been penalized.
