You can tell how "heavy" you bones are by having a bone density scan. This will determine if you have osteoporosis or osteopenia (often found in women who have, or have had anorexia). If you diet too much, and do not get the nutrients your body needs, your bones lose mass. As a rule, bone and muscle are heavier than fat. Hope this helps...

bone is heavier than fat because it is denser, However, there is no such thing as big-boned. People who appear big-boned often have more muscles, which is also heavier than fat.
