lick your palm and wait for ten seconds. if it stinks, duh u have bad breath! pop in a mint or bite into a fruit. gum is the worst thing to use to get rid of bad breath!! u think u're getting fresh breath but u're not--the only gum that i really would recommend is mentos. but mentos really count as mints anyway! g'luck!

proper dental hygiene is the best way to combat this problem... FLOSSING is the true secret and regular daily brushing is an obvious must. If you smoke, the likelihood that you've got bad breath increases. Drinking water, taking an occasional mint or even carrying a small travel sized mouthwash should assist you with this issue. I guess I told you more how to prevent bad breath than when you know if it is, I hope that helps

Just always have really really good breath if you're worried...brush your teeth & floss two or three times a day, always have mints. and if you chew gum, get rid of it after 10 minutes or so...it goes bad & no longer gives that fresh smell! by the way, if your mouth tastes bad with nothing in it, you've probably got bad breath. good luck!
