No, doxycycline is an antibiotic in the tetracycline family. It is commonly used for treatment of Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Other uses including: treatment of acne and certain Gram negative infections. Thrush is a fungal infection. Believe or not but a healthy adults mouth is filled with bacteria and fungus. However, with an intact immune system, it does not pose a health risk. The bacteria and the fungus are always competing for nutrients in the mouth. Interestingly, when you administer an antibiotic, it kills the bacteria in the mouth. Now, without any competition from the bacteria, the fungus thrives and, since it is not affected by antibiotics, it continues to grow. But, this is a rare situation, I only seen this happen with patient who do not have an intact immune system. As for the swollen lymph nodes, it is more likely that the infection is causing the swelling and not the antibiotics. Common reported side-effects include: nausea, vomiting, dizzy, headaches, dry mouth...etc. (99% of all drugs have these reported side-effects.). The one exception is that doxycycline makes your skin more photosensitive (i.e. it is easier to get a sunburn). Patients, who are taking doxycycline are advised to use sunblock.

Assuming you mean mean either genital thrush or oral thrush, then no, it doesn't cause swollen lymph nodes in the axillae, since these regions do not 'drain' into the armpit.

You would get a much better answer by calling your local pharmacy and asking to speak to the pharmacist. Good luck.
