Ok I promise this is my last question before I leave.

So lets say you're at a bar and a guy/gal buys you a drink. You're not really feeling them though. What would you do? Do you walk by smile and say thank you...try to engage in a convo, or just ignore them completely.

Unfortunately they deserve the courtesy of a thank you and short conversation. I have been stuck like this before and it seems to be worse than death by fire ants, but it is the right thing to do. Just make sure someone knows to call your cell phone in 10 minutes and act like you need to go pick them up somewhere!

Never accept a drink from a man at a bar. They have a habit of putting stuff in them that could make you ill for days. Just say no thanks, and if you are actually interested, you could begin a conversation by saying you have to get up early and you are through drinking for the night.

Just because someone buy you a drink don't mean you can't be social with them. If they bought you a drink without asking you then that's on them. Yet you could enjoy conversation with them and be very clear that your not interested in them but you wouldn't mind just talking. Do a little networking.

I would walk by smile and say thank you for the drink and nothing more.

I would probably smile & say thank you but not start up a conversation right away. Just because there aren't sparks right away, you never know when you might see him/her again and there might be something next time.

I lean more effective in route of the anti-social part. i'm particularly of a recluse..I firmly believe that folk have become more effective stressful and nutty commonplace. i ought to somewhat not take care of the drama.

Say "Thank u and have a goodnight" this way you're thanking him/her for the drink and wishing them well.

Eh, just thank them and don't initiate anything or show a hint of even being interested.
