cutting calories is super easy. just watch what you eat.
um. pretty simple diet actually.and it takes a bit of time... but ts better then being annorexic or bulemic or something...
1- take your morning body weight and multiply it by 10, then round to the nearest hundred. this number is the amount of calories you should intake per day.
eg. morning body weight=125
125 x 10 = 1250
calorie intake = 1200
2-stay away from condiments, they are useless calories, use salt, pepper, and ketchup if you have to.
3-try not to use oil, or fat in your food. baked or steamed is best, less calories, less fat.
4- balance out your meals... just because your calorie counting doesnt mean you can eat 1200 calories worth of cake. balance fruit, veggies, and meat.
5- once a week its okay to have a treat. this way your body is actually working to burn off useless calories.
6- drink water instead of pop, or juice. every morning have a huge glass of water... wait 20 minutes, then eat some breakfast. make sure your always hydrated. drink LOTS of water.
to find a calorie list just look it up on yahoo or google or something. its really simple. dont forget to excersice too though. good luck!
oh. and to maintain your weight, multiply your morning body weight by 12.
=)

Not enough muscle and metabolism stimulation. Your body craves a bigger challenge.
Do this; buy a couple of 5-gallon pails with lids from Home Depot. Put some water in each. Pick them up. Stand and hold them for 60 seconds. Keep your elbows bent, your knees bent, and bend over while holding them. Use a clock with a sweep hand on the floor to keep track of the time.
Do every day.
Add more water once a week.
By keeping your joints bent, your muscles hold the weight, not your bones.
This will speed up your metabolism a LOT and make your body tighter, look thinner, and you WILL feel a LOT better.

I have tried a lot of different diets. The diet that I have found that is the best for me is a low fat diet, where I also am mindful of calories, and I limit the amount of sugared soda that I drink. I know that low carb is all the rage, but it makes me very crabby and it really isn't healthy. I have lost over 70 pounds since October dieting this way. Exercise is also important. Aerobic exercise is best. You need to find an exercise that you like to do, so that you will stick with it.

never "drop" weight everything must be gradual. go here and figure out how many calories you need daily. http://www.cancer.org/docroot/ped/conten...
To lose weight you will need to eat less than this, so everything that enters your mouth... write it down and how many calories it was... don't forget to also write down the butter on your toast and the things you drink, even the sugar or honey in your tea. Every weight loss attempt needs exercise along with it. This prevents sagging skin and speeds up the weight loss process. Even if you walk for 20 minutes a day it is a good start to where you can speed it up to mabye running? Seeing as the heavier you are the more pressure is being put on your joints so a good exercise is also swimming since it is the on- earth anti- gravity system.
The site I gave you also has a little information on it and if you have any questions or are seeking motivation email me at crzypoprcks@yahoo.com
best of luck!
p.s.>> If you have trouble with identifying calories in certain foods that dont have labels such as: an apple, meats, etc. look it up here: http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/...
and you can also look up stuff from restaurants here: http://www.chowbaby.com/fastfood/fast_fo... (just scroll down to the drop down menu of different restaurants.)

You need a lifestyle change. Eat right, cut out junk food, high calorie food and beverages and the like...drink plenty of water...and workout regularly (shoot for 5 days a week) for at least 30 mins...1 hr would be better.
Do things that will keep you interested...if you don't like running, try walking, or bicycling, or rollerblading, or aerobics, or swimming, or...well, you get my drift...
Make up your mind to do it, and stick to it...it can be tough to do (I know, I've been there more than once) but the rewards are worth it!

I can tell you from experience it can get a lot worse, and fast.
You have to continue running. 20-30 minutes 3-6x a week.
But you also have to eat healthy. Find out what your daily caloric intake is (probably around 1200-1500 if you are a female) and stick with that.
Don't get obsessed, it just leads to bigger problems down the road.

I have lost around 60 lbs in 6 months and I will tell you what not to eat. The first myth we have been told is that fat is bad. Sugar and carbohydrate are the big nasties. In fact, reduced fat food that has had some of the fat removed is actually more fattening than the regular food because the removed fat in most cases has been replaced with carbs! This is the main reason why you must absolutely stay away from ALL processed food with no exception. Eat fresh and natural. You must have 3 meals a day and get into a routine so your body knows when to expect food. Your body is capable of doing exquisite things to avoid weight loss if it thinks it’s going to get starved, so you must feed it and regularly.
The other thing you must do is keep your insulin as low as possible by getting sugar and carbs in your diet as close to zero as you can and not having ANYTHING between meals except water. Also having at least 5 hours between one meal and another. The last meal of the day must be no later than 9pm. Insulin is a hormone that will absolutely block fat and protein burning in your body and force it to burn sugar, that's how it works. You will NOT lose weight with your blood stream flooded with insulin, even with exercise. It’s impossible. You must have at least 8 glasses of water a day in order for your liver and kidneys to excrete the fat from your body this is crucial.
Now, what you must stay away from and I mean, non at all. Bread, pasta, rice, pastry, flour of any kind, sugar, potato, onion, parsnip, sweet potato, pumpkin, beetroot, carrots, peas, beans, beer, sweet wine, spirits, spreads like butter and margarine and be very careful of sauces and condiments. Fruit and milk should be taken very, very sparingly because they are fattening. Fruit is full of sugar too, only a very small amount. Avoid all processed food including diet soda it will stimulate insulin. 3 cups of black tea or coffee WITH meals a day is OK. Use Stevia for a sweetener.
OK, if you are still with me, what can you eat? In a nutshell you replace the carbs you have removed with protein and green leafy vegetables. Do not mix protein only 1 per meal. This is what you can eat. Lean meat, poultry, fish, cheese, yoghurt and eggs are your permitted proteins. Cauliflower, cabbage, sprouts, broccoli, capsicum, mushroom, celery, zucchini and a small amount of tomato. You can have unlimited amounts of lettuce and cucumber but ONLY at meal times. You can use balsamic vinegar as a dressing; mustard is ok too but only made from the powder. Shop bought is full of sugar! Curry powder in cooking can be used as well. One tablespoon of olive oil is ok per day, in cooking and as a dressing. Garlic is OK but not shop bought; you guessed it, full of sugar. Use fresh.
I will GUARANTEE if you stick to this you will loose heaps of weight, fast. I know it's not easy and you need the support of your family too.
Just another couple of things I forgot. NO breakfast cereal and avoid really heavy exercise you will just burn glycogen in your muscles, not fat and it will just make you sore and tired. You need prolonged gentle exercise to burn fat like walking. You don't need to exercise at all on this diet as long as you're moving about. Last but not least read food labels and look at the ingredients. Avoid foods like the plague with more than 5 grams of carbohydrate per 100 grams. If you like a drink, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc (very dry and low in carbs) with a little soda water is OK with meals.
Good Luck. Jules, lecturer. Australia.
