My daughter's six year molars have just started coming in. Would they cause her to have fevers and other teething symptoms?

The six year molars are the last deciduous (milk or baby teeth) that she will get. Dentists and the medical profession tell us that there is no relationship to fever, malaise, but I know it happened to my seven year old daughter when she got hers.

Shortly after she gets her molars, she may start losing the incisors in the front and cutting the new, permanent teeth under them. (If she has not done so already)

Most children experience no problems at all with their 6 year old molars. Many children and parents and unaware that they have even erupted (I have to point them out to many a parent). Generally teeth should not cause these sorts of problems and I would be taking her to the doctor to be on the safe side and make sure there isn't some other underlying cause.

Since they have already started coming in ,there is very less chance that she would have any problems with it.See to it that she brushes it properly since they are permanent teeth which will not be replaced and hence should be protected from caries.

yes they would in fact they can make her feel very feverish and sick.. the best thing is something cold like ice or oragel for kids in the tiny q tips filled with it and it is watermelon flavored. it works well. your daughter will be ok. you can also try childrens tylonol liquid only..
