give their little belly a rest.. dont put anything on their stomach for about 30-45 mins after they vomit..then do a tsp of room temp ginger ale.. if it doenst bounce back after about 10 mins... gradully increase the amount of fluids...If they wont drink the pedialite... freeze it in an ice tray and then crush it into small pieces.. or if you have any craft sticks, you can put them in the ice trays and make popcicles... I used to use 1/2 pedialite, 1/2 water and make jello..... if it calls for 1 cup hot water, use 1/2 water, 1/2 pedialite and make sure pedialite flavor matches jello flavor.... Use a B R A T diet... Bananas, Rice, Apples, Toast.. they put my daughter on that diet when she was in the hospital with a stomach bug, Roto virus, and a UTI.... Use Ice packs on the back of the neck, or cool rags, will help slow down and stop vomiting..... I think thats all I got.. Good luck, we all hate having our little ones sick... give plenty of kisses

If she vomits everytime you try to feed her stop giving food. You must get fluids in her though, even if she vomits after giving it to her. She is much more likely to dehydrate when she is losing fluids the way she is. Try the pedialite freeze pops. It will cool her down if she has a fever and it gives her fluids a little at a time. If you can get her to drink from a cup give her a straw so she does not take a big gulp of liquid into her belly. Let her take one sip at a time every couple of minutes if that is all she can handle. It may seem cruel to force liquids on her when she just continues to bring it back up but it is a better alternative to sitting in the emergency room for 8 hours with an IV in her little hand which is what I had to do with my son.

Pedialyte or gatorade mixed w/water to keep her hydrated.Small pieces of bread, crackers,Baked potato, cheerios. This is actually the diet my 13mth old was out on a month and a half ago for the same thing. He had to stay on it until the diarrea goes away.Which was about 3 -4 days.If it is not gone by then take her to the doctor. She also said no fatty foods during this time.Gerber Graduates have seasoned crackers that she may enjoy better than plain ones.Hope she gets well soon.No juice or milk

Try very small amounts of clear fluids frequently (10 or 15 min) If these stay down, increase the amount. If not and your child's symptoms get worse, go to a hospital.
Once your child appears to be on the mend, stick to the BRATT diet. Bananas, Rice, Apples, Tea and Toast. These firm things up. Avoid all dairy. If your child loves milk, switch to goat's milk to avoid weeks of runny movements and diaper rash from hell. Goat's milk.

I would probably take her to the hospital not as an emergancy but if your normal doctor isnt in it's as last resort I'm sure you know how quickly little ones can get dehydrated and with it being that hot there it can happen even quicker the hospital may have something to help her with retaining fluids to help with dehydration and may have an answer to the pottying issue.. Until you can get her there you might try Pedealite if she will take it.. Best Wishes

Pedialite is definitely the best thing for them, and they should have small sips of water. Your child should be lightly dressed, but covered to avoid a chill. Let them rest as much as possible and re-introduce plain foods ( toast, crackers, etc.) slowly.

Give her Jello. It soothes the stomach, but it is sweet so do it a little at a time and have her a little water to drink.

lots of fluid so baby does not dehydrate. and lots of hand wsahing - let day care know so they practice lots of handwashing and sanitizing to keep it from circulating to other kids keep a sheet with times temps and intakes so you know in case doctor asks.
