Why is it a near certainty that she'll take another meaning from it?

I say one thing, with one meaning and its turned against me. I'm made to feel guilty!!! WHY?

It is oh so simple Peter... Think before you speak. Women tend to be a lot more sensative than men, we think before we say things, and if they would hurt us, we tend not say it outloud. Men just seem to say how they feel and let us women get hurt.
Perhaps you need to think a lot more, think of what she would like and not what you want to do.
Secret from woman to man... Allow the woman to feel all the love you have, keep her happy, make her feel as if she is the most important thing in your life (even if she isn't) buy her flowers, chocolates, make her a CD of all your favourite tracks, simple stuff. Way to a man's heart if through his stomach, be it food or drink.. way to a womans is showering her with gifts (which do not need to be expensive) and love.
Perhaps she just feels UNLOVED, ever thought of that?

because the comments that men make to a woman usually have a sexual meaning behind it. You may not come right out and say it , but it is obvious that the underlying meaning is sexual. If a woman is not attracted to you "that way" it can be very offensive to have some guy making little sexual inuendos to you. It really gets old when practically every guy you talk to does it. Believe it or not but most women aren't like men. With men they can take almost everything you say and make it into something sexual. But a woman can just talk to you without all of that bull crap. I get so frustrasted when I talk to a man because you have to be careful how you say things because almost anything you say .. you know that in their head they have made it sexual.

Because women 'sub-communicate' most of the time. This means that they look for hidden meaning and are much more sensitive to non-verbal communication. This is evolutionary because a woman needs to be able to interelate and manage relationships in order that she can pick the most suitable long term partner and raise a family.
Men communicate directly and have almost no subcommunication which is why women often think we are tactless.
Both men and women need to be more tolerant and learn that we communicate in a different way.
Girls.......if you want something then state it explicitly for your man or he will just think you're playing games (a common accusation from men)
Boys.....remember that women read into things constantly. Adapt your langauge accordingly.

It's not "what" you say sometimes it's how you say it! It all has to do with "feelings"! nobody wants to think the person they care about doesn't care how they feel! Once they come out of your mouth they can't go back in and all the I'm sorry's in the world won't change the fact that you said it! whether you're fooling or not! I don't think it should be any different for the ladies either!Think before you speak!

Because you are a wimp! And most women are bi*chs. My husband says stuff to me all the time and I don't take it in a bad way. Sometimes he says stuff that I take it as something else. But I don't get mad at him for it. Here is the thing, you don't have to STOP talking, you just need to find a girl who is not a bit*h...but good luck with that now and days. Make sure you get one that is not a sl*t either...dumb women now and days. I'm happy to say I'm a good women :) at least that is what my husband says to all his friends about me.

Well, could be that the meaning of things is important in the use between the two of you: and not that you should have to "mind your p's and q's, but, you should be aware of the meaning of what you're saying! IF you really care about someone; then it should come naturally that you are able to say what you mean!

Wait a minute! I just asked myself this same question about a man taking everything the wrong way. Which is it? Men or women taking things the wrong way? Maybe its just what happens to people when they give their hearts to someone and are afraid they will be hurt.

Because we have a condition called PMS, signs to watch out for include :being happy 1 minute,crying another minute,hating men another minute,asking are we still pretty 2 you and saying we are sorry(this last one is rare so record it if you can for further use).

You have to be careful when it comes to us females because we analyze things. And alot of times men don't know how to express themselves well so we miss intrepid things. You must be clear and think before you say anything to a female. Because we think before we speak and were more sensitive.

I guess ladies uses the other side of the brain that us men dont really want to use and that makes them analize so much more than we say.
