when you took your first bath by yourself?
is 12 years old too old? because when i was 12. thats when my mom left me to. she didnt like the thought of me washing by myself. and still doesnt

at about age 6, my son was trained enough to be able to bath himself
in the interest of water conservation, my girls bathed together up to age 6 and 8. They switched to showers and showered together a few times, but discovered that they were crowding each other too much and thereafter showered alone.

Well, when I was 12, I had been bathing by myself for as long as I could remember. So, probably 5 or so.

You've got to be kidding me. Anyone of my children and grandchildren have been taking their baths alone since the age of four. 12 years is way too old to have a Mother sitting with you or washing you. Sorry Girl ,but I don't like what your Mother is doing.
I find it an intrusion on your privacy.

I was taking a shower by myself at 2. My mum had to teach me to turn on the shower by myself because i was getting in several times a day and turning it on myself. So she thought she'd better teach me to do it right. My kids were 3 when I started leaving them for a few minutes (stayed in ear shot) They are 7 now and have bathed by themselves fully for 2 years

I have two daughters, 16 months and 4 years old. They take baths together to save water but I think that my four year old could take a bath on her own.

I was really young. 12 yrs old? I would've felt kinda uncomfortable if my mom still wanted to give me a bath. Your old enough to wash yourself.

probably 6 I know at least 7 cause thats when my mom left and my dad was not going to give me a bath.

my daugther is 1 1/2 and she is capible of washing her own hair and body (of course i help and help rince) um by 3 she will be doing the bath by herself...only cuz shes super smart like that

Your Mom has a problem----did someone she knows drown in the bathtub???
At 12, you are ready for some real privacy--I had my period at TEN!!!!
