I like the positive outlook. So many think these are evil times. But I agree with you. The charity out of developed countries has got to be unprecedented.

I believe it definitely has a lot to do with spirituality however, I think it has more to do with each individual that you've named spirituality independently. I don't see that the world is getting more spiritual I just simply think that just like you and I there are others out there who see needs and fufill them. On the other hand you have to take a serious look at how many more millionaires and billionaires we have in the world and you will sadly see that most of them give very little compared to their net worth. People are a lot more selfish, selfcentered, and have no natural affection. Giving if given from the heart is very sincere however, when people give for notarity; where is the sincerity in them giving. I'de like to hear about those celebrities who not only give but do so constantly and choose to remain anonymous.......

Spiritual?

How could atheist Bill Gates be spiritual too help God's Word?
Don't confuse Microsoft Word* with God's Word.

This could be interesting.

I would suggest this. Leave Hollywood and actors/actresses' in Hollywood.

There TV and publicity is for growth yes. Spiritual? How many TV shows has these people done that they personally made a sermon and showed them to Christ?

I didn't say....Had "Guests" that did it.

Good Question.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet combined their fortunes in a foundation trust because their money can grow tax free but they still absolutely control how it is spent and invested. Sure they give some away, but they'll make billions taxe free and be able to use their investment to control corporations and shift the market as they see fit. It's not simply out of the goodness of their hearts.

when we are young we want to make money.
when we get older we look back and say, gee I could die my friends are and I am getting older what good is all this money if I am dead? So I will take some of it and donate to a cause and save myself and look like a real generous person.
That doesn't mean it hurts them financially, they have more than they could ever spend. Also I believe they are good generous people.

It would be nice if people were actually becoming more honest, giving, less bigotted, less biased, but no, if anything I think the world is becoming more fearful, more angry, and is having a major fight or flight moment.
