Is drinking hot water better for your body than drinking water of normal temperature?

I don't think so, actually cold water is better when you want to lose weight, normal temperature water is better for my teeth, therefore I prefer. But hot water, never heard if it.

In many Asian countries, people drink boiling-hot tea when the temperature is 100+ degrees. They do it to raise their body temperature so the heat does not feel so 'hot'. In the winter times, they drink hot drinks to warm up. ;)

In leiu of calorie burning. The body has to work harder to warm cold water to the body's temprature so it actually has to do some work to process it.

Cold water however, is shown to not be as good for you as warm or hot water as in tea or even just warm by itself. Maybe minerals respond and release better if warm... I don't know really.

well if you are extremely hot and parched. Would you drink hot water to cool you down? Or cold water?

Actually, you burn more calories by drinking cold water. Your body burns more calories by warming the water.
