When people swear, they don't think the name of Messiah is enough to blaspheme, they have to add to it and blaspheme it further.

I believe it is just used when someone uses it for blashempy or simply a swear word. I think it is meant to be Jesus Holy Christ is what the meaning of the H is. It is not written nor spoken anywhere that way in the Bible though. It is just something someone made up and passed along.

Maybe the people who use the H in the middle think that makes it so they are not taking His name in vain.

But then again....maybe it is just a habit, picked up by hearing someone else say the same thing. People tend to be sheep ya know.

Good question. I dunno. I should coz i say it often enough.
I have only ever heard H when someone is blaspheming though.
I was once told it was holy or something but it might not be. Maybe Jesus had an unknown middle name.
Harold?
Herbert?
Henrietta?

The "H" stands for "Honeysuckle".

Actually, that's pretty good! maybe people figure that, by adding the "H", they're not really blaspheming the name of the saviour, since his name contains no "H"!
