Iniquity is rebellious sin. A worker of iniquity not only sins but enlists others in thier rebellion.

One who causes others to sin...
this is a good definition....
Psalms 64:
2. ..................; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3. Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4. That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5. They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6. They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk See also Luke 13:27.

Psalm 28:3. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

Hope this helps. Just a quick study.

Ok, this is not rocket science.

"Worker of Iniquity" is a fancy, perhaps poetical, religious term for "evildoer".

You may substitute any other "bad guy" term for the above phrase. Consult a thesaurus.

I think it is someone who goes against the will of God continually without repenting, but I suppose it could be anything along those lines (i.e. perhaps even someone who has acted against the will of God once without repenting; who knows for sure?). Whatever the case, it seems to refer to the non-repentant, whether or not they will eventually repent (although after they repent, it seems they wouldn't be referred to as such anymore).

One who uses perverse ways to get grace from God. Deciding yourself what is right or wrong. Man's religion: "I am good enough in my works for me, so that's good enough for God".
