from your sins, right? Well, who created sins in the first place? according to you, god did, but then he sent jesus to save you from sins. So my question to you is: Isn't that like pushing somebody, but then catching them and saying "I saved your life" because you wouldn't have needed "saving" if god hadn't created sin?

Yeah, the Bible can be quite confusing sometimes, I don't blame you for asking questions. I admire that you have a desire to figure this stuff out. Genesis is the creation story. It starts out "In the beginning..." Yeah. Anyways, God created Adam, man. Then he created Eve, woman. He put these two creations in a fabulous paradise and gave them pretty much free reign over the whole place. He gave them free will to choose what to do. Their only restriction was to not eat the fruit from the tree in the center of garden. Eve eats the fruit (tempted by Devil in the form of a serpent). She offers a taste to Adam, he eats the fruit. By their own free will, these two people more or less created sin. Before this incident, sin and pain and suffering was unknown to mankind--the whole two of them. But, since they took advantage of their free will and ate from the tree, they sinned. Therefore, all of mankind now is born with a sinful nature. Had Adam and Eve not eaten the fruit from that tree, there would have been no need for Jesus to die on a cross and save us from our sins.

I hate it when people try to find fault with God and then I relize that He sent His Son to save us while we where yet sinners.Whats even worse before I came to know God I to asked this very question and then once again I am reminded of His mercy ,its so easy to think we are so heavenly good that we become no earthly good at all ,I pray God to bless you as he has me for this very question. For you to better understand the question and this is a good rule to apply to most questions.Lets turn it around and look at it from Gods view (the old two sides to every story view).Imagine as best you can being God , who made everything and nothing was made without God.The air You and I breath belongs to Him.I'm sure you have rules at your house after all its your house it belongs to you and nobody else at least thats how you feel now, and thats okay ,but that will change to after you come to know Jesus , I just love saying that name .Now here I come over to your house muddy feet , loud mouthed , adjust the thermastat , and tell everyone to shut up while I find something to watch on your TV.Get the picture. Now on the other hand I wouldn't have to of made you at all . But for some reason I thought just maybe you might like to have a little time here on this earth so I (God) could see how much you would appreciate what you do have . You see it cost God a tremendous price for us to go to heaven. Would you give your only son so I could go to a place like heaven when all I did was scorn your son my whole life.Don't play around with this thought .The air you breath belongs to Him.Speak words with this in mind , for at anytime He could say ,Thats Enough of My Air.

Well first of all, its obvious that you dont read the bible so before I tell you anything read the first book of Genisis. I as a christian have the right to tell you nothing! Second of all whats with you? You use one little mistake someone told you to put in a whole context of what Jesus is about? My advice is not the answer to your question but a relation that leads to an answer through gods word! Dont rely on so much on mans or womans mouth but look for yourself, and in your heart if you search god will reveal it to you!! to read up : )

That is very good question. I think I will take a crack at it. It is my humble opinion that God didn't create sin. Sin is diobedience. God did give us free will, and we screwed it up.
So Jesus came to bail us out. And thank goodness. I am MR. DISOBEDIENCE...Thank you Jesus.
Not a great answer, but I'm just a guy sitting here eating a burrito watching some stupid show on tv.

God did not create sin. Sin is the absence of God. If man were fully endowed with God there would be no sin within man.

Adam and Eve were created without sin. However, they chose to be disobedient to God while in the Garden of Eden. That is how sin originated.

Well, actually when Satan came into the garden where Adam and Eve were and tempted them with the fruit of the tree that God said NOT to touch Satan said that it would be okay. So when they ate the fruit off the tree of good and evil, God came to the garden and Adam and Eve felt ashamed since they where naked, they hid behind the tree. That is when sin was created and that is why ME, YOU and EVERYONE else in this world needs to be SAVED! God bless you and I will PRAY for you!!!!!

Ok some of you say god didnt create sin. yet you say that god created everything at other times.
in the beginning, there was only god (so you say). not even sin. so how did sin come to be, if god didnt create it?
sorry for not answering your question, but i didnt feel like asking a question of my own

"And God saw everything that he made and, behold, it was very GOOD".etc Genesis 1:31.
When man ate the fruit from the tree that was forbidden. Man recieved knowledge. SIN was birthed
Sin was not created from GOD but from man eating of the forbidden tree.
"But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 2:17
If any "christians" being saying otherwise then I don't know what bible they have been reading because God did not create sin.
