Ok, will walking on my tippy toes all the time (putting pressure on the calves) allow them to get bigger and does walking on very high incline also get you bigger calves? and every time i try this my legs get skinner and then i keep thinking if i continue soon it will start to build muscle, but whenever im done eating my legs are back to where they started from... is there any ways of achieving large calves at home, when you dont have any working out machines or anything?

Stand in the stairs, with your toes on the step and your heels hanging off. Slowly raise and lower yourself 15 times. Do three reps. Try that for a week two or three times a day. If that gets to easy, do more reps.

Walking on your tippy toes isn't going to do anything. You need to hit your calves with heavy weight and do it often. Sorry, but really you should be training in a gym.

The only alternative you might consider is to get a big backpack and fill it with some kind of weight. Put it on your back. Then, go to a step (like a step on a staircase) and just have your toes on the edge of the step. Keep you legs straight and dip you calves down as far as they can go. Then, move up on your tippy toes as high as possible.

Buy a cheerleading work-out DVD. I had the smallest, most skinny thighs, calves, ankles - well legs overall - before I started cheering. It wasn't long before I had some big ol' legs of steel. Even years after high school, most of the muscle is still with me. I guess it's all the running, jumping, squats, lifting & such that the moves require. Even if you're a guy, nobody's gonna know what you do in the comfort of your own home to make you look so awesome!

Any kind of incline or uphill run or cyling will give you bigger calves. Just look at all the Tour De France cyclist.

Bicycling works well. My dad bikes all the time and his calves are as big around as his neck.

wear high heel shoes, i don't know why women go to such lengths to torture themselves.
