So I met this nice guy a few weeks ago, and we started talking. I really like him, but he's getting a little annoying where he's IMing me as SOON as I sign on, etc. We're talking for four hours a night, and I'm starting to think that it's a *bit* much. How can I make sure he knows I think he's awesome, but I don't want to rush things and be down eachother's throat? I like him and I want to continue getting to know him, but not this quickly and intense. Blah. Thanks ya'll :)

You need to come up with an excuse to get off line. (Don't really get off line-just tell him that and set your IM to invisible.) Maybe you need to get to bed earlier. Maybe you have homework of some kind. Tell your friends that you are set on invisible and that they should buzz you. That way you can talk to them and don't have to respond in case he buzzes you later.

i had this problem it gets old fast the worst part is i have a man the guy was obsessed at first it was fun but he started dominating my time long story short he was a computer whiz screwed up my computer and i almost lost my 10 yr relationship be careful tell him how you feel before someone gets hurt

just tell him hes a little intense and he needs to back off and give you some space. tell him you really do thinnk hes awesome, but he needs to chill.
