I don't own any Bullmastiffs now, but was associated with them for many years. Back in the old days, a Bullmastiff could be gotten anywhere from $300 to $1000. Expect to pay more now if you go through the regular channels. They make wonderful guard/companion dogs, and yes, some of them are "lippy" and tend to drool. Suprisingly, even though they are large animals, they get along very well in small living quarters, like small apartments, etc.

If you are planning on showing and/or breeding, I suggest you contact the American Bullmastiff Association for a reputable breeder. If you aren't going to show and breed, two great places to look would be:

Good luck!

Bullmastifs are the most gentle dogs iv ever owned however they LOVE to eat live chickens so you must be careful on that one.

They are good family dogs also

I'd expect to spend at least 1200.00

Expect to $pend more than the usual amount for food. The mastiffs I have met were really laid back and mellowed out.

Our neighbors had one. Nice dog but so big it frightened our children. Drooled terribly and they don't live long.
