In 1969 when Ho chi minh died, I was in Vietnam as a young 11B4P Abn Grunt. We were instructed to allow the VC to pass if they wore a white arm band. We did'nt.
Now I know how easily the US government can coerce the young to do their "dirty work" in unprovoked wars. No lessons were learned from the VN war which was lost and now the US repeats those mistakes not learned in Iraq!
Uncle Ho was a good man and strategist. He and his armies won the war based on the will of the people not on the battles that were fought. Though Ho is gone, I honor his persistance to keep other countries like the US and France out of Vietnam. They poison the people and the earth!

we all loved uncle ho, he was one of time magazine 100 most influential people of the century, i will always remember this quote "You can kill ten of our men for every one we kill of yours. But even at those odds, you will lose and we will win."

Ho chi minh was a good man......have you studied his life. He was a wanted man, hunted by police ofrce around the world and faked his death at one point breaking out of prison. Maybe you should ask some of the people in the North how good he was when they locked you away for your beleifs and seized their property. He controled the north much like any dictator would. Some even think if the elections had taken place Ho would have lost.

My husband was a vietnam vet 11thcav. he wouldn't be proud of anything your uncle ho did! but you got one thing right al queada have the young liberals fighting their war for them!
