Because someone invented a doll called barbie and the stereotype of blondes was forever deemed as stupid housewives with tiny waists and huge boobs. The end.

Couldn't tell you. I think that our society just made it so being blonde with blue eyes is the most valued. I don't know where the dumb blonde stereotype came from, but I find that some blondes just act dumb because that is what is expected of them, even when they are anything but dumb. I don't think the color of you hair effects your career, unless you are a waitress or something.

I guess blondes are sometimes misunderstood bcuz not all of them are preppy some people feel insecure so they think that going to the peroxide is there solution. Even my friends sometimes call me a Blonde if i say someting dumb but truth is im a natural brunette.p.s hair color doesnt effect your career your skills do.

Blonde is just lighter so it is more noticable. They are singled out because of all the dumb blonde jokes. Guess it is easier and more acceptable then race or ethnic jokes.

well just look at the queen of blonds paris hilton 4 example historically they have all been portrayed as dumb,Hollywood's fault i guess
i actually think men actually like natural red heads better
i don't think hair color affects you're career unless you're a pole dancer

some are really dumb. but some brown,red or black haired girls can be too! even worse sometimes! it's more a saying then it is true. and..why it's so appealing..tough one! couldn't answer that!
and..the colour could but wouldn't and shouldn't have to affect ur carreer!

Blondes with brown eyes seem to be attracted to me. I have brown hair and blue eyes. May be just be coincidence.
