It is quite normal for this to happen. First of all get him checked out by a doc to ensure that nothing is medically wrong with him. Afterwards, make sure that he does not drink a lot of fluids at nights.
My son used to wet his bed regularly between 3 and 7 years. This is what I did. I regulated his liquid intake at nights. When He wet the bed I would awake him gentle and tell him that he had an accident and will have to have a bath. I help to undress him and change the bedding immediately. Usually I just spread some newspaper on the baseboard and invert the matress so that the urine does not soak through. I speak to him about the dreams he had and most times he said he dreamt that he was using the toilet. Oooh I have had those dreams too with near bed wetting experiences. Have you?
I then recognised that the bed wetting usually occurred after 3 a.m. so I set the alarm for 2:30am and woke him up at that time to use the toilet every morning. He later developed a routine and began getting up himself. He will wet the bed occasionally after a having a really bad day and I just speak him through it and offer support. He told me that he is happy that I do not get angry.

As several have mentioned it is a good idea to have a doctors visit. You didn't specify if it was a boy or girl. Sometimes in boys, their urethra doesn't quite grow at the same rate as everything else and that can cause the issue.

My son quit wetting his diaper during the day when he was about 3. But, he was still wetting the bed at night until he was 7. I tried limiting his fluid later in the evening but we still had the issue (about 3 - 5 nights a week). Then right after his 7th birthday it just stopped. That's been about a year ago and he hasn't had a single accident since then.

Is it a boy? Boys often wet their pants through their young years, due to urological changes and growth. If you have already made sure there is no medical cause for the wetting (which I am assuming you have, as you write you have tried everything), I would say that only time will fix this. Try not to put pressure on the child, as mental stress could increase the wetting. He will grow out of this soon, and there is no reason to cause lifelong mental damage for a problem that will go away on its own accord.

First have doctor examine the child to make sure nothing physical is wrong. then trying asking her to go the toilet abour every hour and half. IF there is something he/she likes offer it up as a reward.
My grand daughter did this at age 4 . She wanted real under wear so my daughter told her if she went one week with out wetting she would get her real under wear, that did not work so then when my granddaugter got into carebears . Again my daughter told her one month with out wetting her pants she got the bottom sheet for her bed with all the carebears on it. That worked ,a month later she had the top sheet, then she had to go 3 months to get the comforter and pillow cases. She is ptty trained.

My son is 5 1/2 and he just now started being dry at night. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and for some reason they told me the medicine would help with that. Sure enough, he has not wet since he started the medicine. Of course your child may not have any medical conditions. As long as the dr. has checked your child, I wouldn't worry about it. I know it is frustrating but my brother was 6 or 7 before he stopped.

Like everyone else, I think you should consult a doctor. I have a family member that had the same problem at night until he was about 8 and they tried just about every medical treatment until one doctor put him on an antidepressant and that was what finally worked. My son has the same problem, he wets the bed at night and I plan to take him to the doctor for it soon, I was hoping he would grow out of it, but he hasn't.

As long as you have ruled out any medical issues, it should just run its course. I wet the bed until I was 7 or 8. I'm still not really sure why. Be as patient and supportive as you can. I still remember waking up shivering and cold, very ashamed and padding down to my parents room. Waking my Mom up at some ungodly hour and her just getting up, changing my sheets and tucking me back in all warm and dry. That was such a good feeling. I'm very thankful to her for that and I'm sure your child will be too.

You should consult your pediatrician. It may just be a sign of the bladder still developing control. It could also be a sign of diabetes, so you should ask the doctor. I was wetting the bed for a little while when I was younger and the doctor gave me a nasal spray. I don't know what was supposed to do, but it stopped it.

Take the child to the doctor. We are having the same problem with our 4 year old. They do have pills out there that can help with bladder control and stop them from wetting themselves. Just don't lose hope....there are many options out there! good luck!
