by nature and manner of being she is a noxious whore; she is a prostitute, the Devil's appointed whore; whore eaten by scab and leprosy who ought to be trodden under foot and destroyed, she and her wisdom ... Throw dung in her face to make her ugly. She is and she ought to be drowned in baptism... She would deserve, the wretch, to be banished to the filthiest place in the house, to the closets."

Maybe that's why Ben Franklin said:

"The way to see by Faith is to shut the Eye of Reason."

Obviously, faith and reason are mutually exclusive.

And your question is what?
Should we care what a man, who was no better and no worse than any other man has said?
Should we care that you mindlessly echo what some Luddite said a few hundred years ago?
Why? Without logic you would not even be able to use the Internet to regurgitate your pointless quotations... Are you trying to provide an example of hypocrisy in action?

Everyone seems to be the devil's whore these days. Seems like money makes the world go round and everyone goes nuts without enough.

Mojo my man! Way to point out to your previous atheist friends that man trying to reason for himself and prove all things is impossible with such a feeble mind when compared to God. Yet, man tries to do this and reason in his little brain, and pretend he has the answers, to make himself feel better. All the while, Satan laughs knowing he got someone else to fall in to the trap. I think it is awesome how you are trying to lead others to the Lord in your own weird kind of way.

Martin Luther also said, "If a woman dies in childbirth so be it: that is her role."

So much for Martin Luther. He should have been born later - he'd have made a great Nazi.

SOOO...What's your point? Are you trying to use reason to tell us that a religious MAN neglected reason?
