thinking of asking partner to get married just not got the balls on how. any idea's . been with her 10 year and got 4 kids.

well I hate to tell you this but all you are missing is the paper CZ most states have what they call common law marriage so if she wanted to leave you she still could get half of your stuff and you would have to support her any way so just go make it legal already and stop waiting you can go in front of the JP for like 10 bucks so you can get married cheap! or most pastor of small churches will do it for about 50 bucks and you can get married in your own back yard or a small chapel weddings can be cheap and simple! I can only guess that is why you been waiting after 4 kids I think it is safe to say she loves you and she ain't going any where so just do it I just got married last month and I have been married twice b4 and this was i think the prettiest wedding I have ever had and it only cost us about 250.00 and that included my dress and his suit which we both get to keep CZ it was not a rental!!!! I mean everything wedding and reception, cake, punch, nuts, coffee and plates, napkins, silverware, etc etc etc candy, cups.........the flowers but I made my own Flowers and cake etc etc. and we only invited 20 ppl just very close friends and family!!!! you could even ask some family members to help with some of the things need to use for the wedding!!! or save up money and get married when you have enough saved up I had my 12 year old girl stand with me and my 16 year old son stand next to groom it was awesome~!!!!!

I feel really sorry for guys when they want to get married and get all worried about asking their partner, you obviously love each other very much and know a lot about each other too, what is her favourite flower, buy a nice bunch, hide them until the kids are in bed, make her a nice drink or better still open a bottle of wine, turn the telly off, tell her you have something to say to her, get down on your knee with the flowers and go for you life, bet she says yes and will be thrilled to bits you asked her, don't be shy or nervous, just go for it and sooner rather than later and let us all know when the big day is, good luck.

If u been together that long I think its time you ask her you don't have to have a crowd around when you ask plan a nice dinner with the kids away for the both of you have the ring in the box cover with a beautiful cloth as if you where to bring her dessert get down on one knee tada pop the question. Are you picturing this in your head that's romantic and also private if your shy around big crowds I'm pretty sure she would say yes.

She either is pressuring you into asking her finally, or she has no idea, either way keep it a complete surprise!
You have ten years of memories to work with, and know her very well! Depending on how old the kids are, get them involved in the purposal. go for a nice day out as a family, and as the day go by tell the kids, they will get all excited. give them all something to do, get one to carry the bottle of champagne, get one to carry the flowers, eldest to carry the ring, and one a pillow for under your knee... or something like that arrange it to fit your kids capabilities.
OR plan to get a sitter for the weekend, and on the friday night purpose and get away! ... tell her to pack her bags and away you go.
Go down on one knee though, its the right thing to do!

I have to say that I think after 10 years and 4 kids together, its unlikely she'll turn you down. Believe in yourself have a stiff drink and just go for it.

Propose like in the movies........in a nice romantic restaurant, or something(suggestions above mine). Women have been waiting all thier life's for someone to say something like that to them, its like their childhood fantasy.........u know her from 10 years and have 4 kids, it doesnt get easier than that, propose, and u will get a yes 100.00% garenteed

Write all your feelings for her down in a letter (not and e mail cos that's unromantic) Leave the note for her when you leave for work. Make sure you have a baby sitter that night and take her out to your fave place (one you both like and that means something) THEN FLIPPIN WELL ASK HER YOU BIG BABY!!!!!!!
