Most of them weren't raised in church or someone other than their parents took them to church, but very little. They never had a chance to really understand about God.

I think part of the reason people are agnostic is because of all the doubts out there, and the common thought that religion is "blind faith". Faith and belief in God are two different things. You can believe God exists, and not have faith in God (I wish I had more faith). So what I'm trying to say is that I believe you can know God exists, but it takes faith to pray and know God. There are a few things about the Bible that seem like a fairy tale, but there is overwelming proof of God's existence within the Bible, you just have to read it. Since I believe you can know the truth, my nickname is knowthetruth, and I'm answering various questions about religion, and some other things that are important.

I respect them. In a sense you culd say it is a "religion": it is, essentially, a belief in something, just not the same as what maybe a Catholic, a Buddhist or a Muslim might believe in. The fact is that when we come down to basics we, whether Christian, Hindi, Buddhist, Muslim OR Agnostic, all believe in a higher power. Agnostics just prefer to keep thier options open!

I am an agnostic and I find it amusing when the religious people say that we are lost souls who haven't found god and all that junk. My parents are very religious but they let me decide for myself. I have tried various religions in my quest for the right one for me. I read books, discussed, debated with various religious figures. I couldn't find one right for me. The only idea that came out of all this was that I found out it all begins with me. After all these years of searching I found that the "kingdom of god" is within each of us. We interpret it different way.

Now I believe that god, or whatever you want to call it, is a spirit that exists inside each of us. It has no magical powers or strengths or whatever.

Well I'm not against agnostics if that's what u mean.
I think that an agnostic might think themselves wise for thinking the way they do.
'The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God'
I think an agnostic has yet to see God in creation, in people, in life.
Faith in God is a blessing.

I don't think God considers me to be one of the "religious people" but I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I love agnostics, atheists, Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and everybody else, except for the Devil himself. I hope and pray that they all find the truth of Jesus Christ.

Agnostic just means people who don't believe the existance of God can be proved or disproved. The Bible doesn't try to convince anyone that God exists, since Christians don't have to be convinced.
