nope. they are not living right under gods law.
Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

do you know what? I have been really wondering about this too. I think yes, they are Christian! A Christian is a person who believes Jesus is their saviour, right?? We are all sinners, right? I sure as heck sin, even though I am not gay. homosexuality is a sin, but so is lying, stealing, and adultery (even thinking about these things is a sin). so I think it is kind of ignorant to say that people with homosexual tendencies are not Christians when all Christians are sinners. Although I do believe we should all try to follow God's laws, we aren't perfect. And finally Jesus decides anyway, so to all who give you an absolute answer, I believe they are wrong.

Yes they are still Christian. The Bible may say that homosexuality is a sin, but that doesn't make homosexuals non Christians. If a man and women live together, or just have premarital sex, does that mean they are no longer "Christian"? Mary Magdalene was a whore, yet Jesus loved and accepted her. People love to quote the old testament. I feel Jesus simplified God. Jesus just taught love and respect. Jesus taught to follow the 10 commandments, and to love one another. When you think of God, just follow the prayer Jesus gave us, It's very simple.
1) Believe in God and Heaven
2) Believe God is great
3) Believe God's kingdom will come
4) Allow God's Will be done, not yours.
5) Ask God to provide for your daily needs
6) Ask God to forgive your sins, just as you forgive the sins of others.
7) Ask God to protect you from temptations
8) And, finally, ask God to keep you safe from evil.

Christians are followers of Christ, which entails following His ways, His teachings ect..Christianity is a lifestyle just like being gay is a lifestyle( which CANNOT be compared to being black-though people do try to compare these 2). God loves gays, lesbians, transgenders ect..It is the SIN that HE hates. There are many, many ex-gays that are Christians living a Christian lifestyle. And there are Christians that have chose to leave the walk of Christianity and follow their Own desire to live homosexual lifestyles. There is sin that leads to death( eternal seperation from God) and i believe that to be if the Word of God condemns certain things and a person deliberately continues to practice it or leads others to it-You are gonna have a problem with God). I believe if you have recieved Jesus as Lord and Savior over you life, then you will want to do only those things that please HIM...ps.s also to blaspheme the Holy Spirt ( unpardonable sin)

I don't know. Let's ask Jesus.
Jesus?
Yes Always Gotta Know. What can I do for you?
This guy wants to know if one can be gay and still be a christian.
Of course. Ones sexual identity has nothing to do with living a christian life. After all, our Creator imbued in us with all that we are. It's just sex, Always, nothing more, nothing less. It's a personal decision. None of our business. Anything else?
Yessir, but can I call you later to chat?
Of course, my son. Anytime.
Well, there you have it.

A person can be a homosexual and become a Christian. God welcomes anyone regardless of their sin. However a person cannot KEEP ON continually in the same sin that has been their habit when the Bible clearly proscribes it.
When someone becomes a Christian they change. God shows them their sins and they give it up, either all at once or gradually over time, depending on how God chooses to work in their life.
A person who claims that they are a Christian but refuses to give up their sin or their "lifestyle" was, doubtless, never a Christian in the first place.
A person must choose what he loves the most, either God or his sin. He cannot serve two masters.

Absolutely they can be and are Christians. According to Christian dogma god created everything and everybody. If people truly believe that than they have to believe god created gays as well as straight people. Surely god the father would not exclude 10% of his human creation from the joys of heaven and eternal life. I believe that god is black and gay and those are the only kind of humans that will go to heaven.

A persons sexuality is determined before birth. The fanatical Christians cannot grasp this truth. They spout lies about sexuality is a choice. The important thing is that God loves us all. The other bull s!@#t is man made crap. As I understand it, if you believe that Jesus is the son of God than you are a Christian. Ignore the sin and the hell accusations from ignorant misinformed bigots.

For anyone else to pass moral judgment on another is wrong. True Christians recognize that each person answers only to God, and will not say that a gay person is not a Christian.
I still find it amazing that in 2006 people still have such a narrow view on the world. How anyone can state with any kind of certainty that his or her view is the only correct view is vanity in its most extreme.
Good luck!

Yes, The Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, but it also says "There is none righteous, no not one;" Romans 3:10 and "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23. Jesus said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone" John 8:7 A person with a gay lifestyle would be welcome at my church, not because we condone the sin, but Jesus commands us to love one another ( John 13:34 ) and not judge one another. (Matthew 7:1 and Matthew 7:3 )

Yes he is,because christ put no laws, the only law he made was love.He had said"don't care about what u put in your mouth(food)but for what comes out of it(words).Love is not a sin.And gay people are not abnormal. All the rules were made by the church to scare people and keep them under their guidance so that they have power.Church and christianity has nothing to do with the Jesus Christ.I only believe in Jesus as a historical personality but I don't believe in god.Gay are people and have absolutely the same rights. If u(the ones who say that u are christian) judge them then u are not!Because u are being racists and Jesus said that we are all the same, and racism is the worst.
Think twice before u speak.
