I really don't think it's a pain in the butt. I think we as a society have become so soft, so intolerant of some minor inconveniences. Also, it seems that the vast majority of people have no idea of what makes something "for the greater good".

All people know how to do is ***** & whine and say ME, ME, ME!

Security's not perfect, nor will it ever be. What man-made contraption or organization is perfect?

both. It is a big pain in the butt,
but it should have been done long ago.
I think the U.S. just got a big head, thinking they were invincible, they never even concieved of 9/11 happening. If they had done this security thing before, 9/11 might not have ever happened.

pain in the butt i mean face it if some one wanted to blow up a plane im sure it could be done terrorists are smart and plan for years.like a bomb in the checked baggage? i know me and my family flew from nebraska to florida and there was 7 of us and we got checked and searched at every stop while we watched araib towel heads go right in. maby they need to start to profile? but what ever makes people"feel safe" the truth is we are no safer so just go on with life as happy as you can and forget that crap besides the terriosts really want to just :take "away our freedoms more than kill us and they have done that very well so i guess there winning

I think that its about time that they step up to the plate about our safety on planes but I also think its a pain in the butt..But I rather have that then not safe at all..

A little bit of both but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm grateful for the added security even if it is an incovenience.

it has to done and people should resepct that and make it easier for our surcuirty guys its frighting for them but someone has to keep our airports safe
