America needs more people to work and pay into social security. I f we have illegals working and not paying into social security and taxes it really messes things up. And you can bet the immigrants both legal and illegal will be looking for their retirement money just like the rest of us. I am tired of the snivelling from some people who cry about no immigration ect, but the people that come over are lazy, crooked, cant speak english, or just think they can do whatever they want in our country. We cant even afford to take care of our own people after Katrina ect, con we really afford any more handouts?

See the key word is ILLEGAL. They have broken the law. If you enter Mexico illegally and a citizen there catches you, they can turn you in and get rewarded for it! Mexico does not want illegals in their country, but the US should allow them here? I am sorry, I understand why they are coming, but they need to get their own country to make reforms and take care of them and not expect the US people to bend over and continue to take care of them. The illegals are not coming here to immigrate, they are only here for the money they can send to Mexico to their families. Therefore, they have no desire to assimilate into the US culture or to learn English, "No, habla English." Yet if I was to move to Mexico, I would be expected to learn Spanish, because it would still be "No, habla English." I am also not allowed to own property in Mexico, with some exceptions. The illegals coming to the US are not the educated or the wealthy. They have no need to come here. The ones who are immigrating are the peasants who barely have a 6th grade education. Most cannot write or read their own language well. My suggestion is if you really want to help those people, then find a way to start improving the conditions in their own country. Get them better schools, better and cheaper medical care... they need to work on the problems in their country and not bring them here to this country. We have our own CITIZENS to worry about. Citizens like the elders who can't afford housing, food and medications and must choose which one to pay for.

Nope. Where's the logic. Should we simply let everyone in all over the world??

Why do you think illegal immigration is ok?? I don't get why people don't understand the definition of illegal.

What other illegal activities are you ok with?? Perhaps we should simply stop being a nation of law and just let Mexico annex us. Hey this might even solve our terrorist problem.

Of course Canada might eventually get ticked off once all the illegals start crossing their borders.

Hey if you care so much for them take them all home. Wait you can't afford to keep them all at your house because they will eat you out of house and home maybe you can pay for their medical bills, But wait you don't have anymore money because you fed them and gave them your house. That is what is happening to America she can not support a lot of people here even the ones that are here legally especially the Illegals.

We have and need limits on how many poor people can come. People who are not poor pay for the education, health care and other services of people who are poor in this country. Even if they pay all taxes due, poor people aren't asked to pay much of anything towards these costs. We are willing to subsidize our own people and a limited number of legal immigrants. We are not willing to pay for more people than that.

Schools and health care are failing in our border states and in areas where illegal immigrants concentrate. They are stealing our children's future.

Mexico is rich , I believe they are in the top 10 wealthiest countries in the world. The problem is Mexico would rather use their people for tools, the print information on " How to survive in the U.S. illegally." , Then they give them no choice but to risk their lives to come here illegally.

Then their is Hispanic civil rights leaders and organizations such as La Raza and MEChA ( that are the equivalent to a Hispanic KKK) that tell the Mexican people all kinds of lies to make them believe the U.S. southern states belong to Mexico.

The Mexican people need education, and then they need to revolt against their government. I belive this needs to happen to secure peace between the citizens of both countries.

I don't agree with you. "I think ILLEGAL immigrants should be allowed to come to the US. They need a life too. " Is just like saying, identity thieves should be allowed to work in banks, because they need a paycheck too. Or drug smugglers should be allowed to transport drugs across our borders because they need to support themselves and their families.

ILLEGAL means a crime is being committed. Laws are being broken. Immigration laws should be reformed so that the process is easier for foreigners to comply with, so that they can be screened for disease, forced to learn to read and speak English fluently, and take part in a work-for-housing-and-benefits program that would not be a drain on the US economy.

Anyone who breaks US laws, are criminals, not immigrants, should be treated as such, and prevented from entering and giving birth in this country. Immigrants are people who comply with US immigration laws.

I disagree. I'm all for legal immigration. However, our nation, the United States, is a nation of laws. I do not blame illegal aliens. They are pawns of corporate criminals. I do not favor deporting illegal aliens. I favor punishment of any corporation involved in illegal activity. Let's not close our borders but let us close any company that violates our labor laws.

If you care so danged much about them, then tell them to come legally.. if they don't, they are just criminals.. just like ANYONE who breaks the law. What is SO hard to understand about that? in case you didn't get it.. I DON'T agree with you. I , like the majority of others, are law abiding citizens and take great offense to the very suggestion that those who think it is just dandy to thumb their noses at our laws and come here anyway they please and DO anything they please and then become offended because we don't like it.. should be allowed to stay! Allow them to stay and you might as well open all the jails and let out ALL the criminals.. they have about the same manner of respect for others.

Illegal immigrants are already IN the country. More illegals won't be allowed, there will be a border wall built soon. If an illegal has been here over 5 years, gove them amnesty if they are decent people. Esp people on expired visas and good education-we should get resident cards fast!
