I've asked for the movies back several times by mouth and through text messages. i don't want him anymore I just want my movies. Should i just forget about them?

Sadly, that happens in a lot of break ups. It's best just to write the movies off as lost.
They aren't that expensive, you could probably buy used one on line at Amazon.com. If you really want them back.
It may not be the movies, that you want, but the fact that he is in fact, stealing them, that gets your goat.
It's just not worth all the stress you are going through. Just chalk it up to a bad experience and move on. You'll feel much better, with the closure.

I'd say, forget about the movies. They are not collectibles, right? Now it seems like he's tryign to play a power game by not letting you have them. Good way to stop it is to decide that 3 movies is not worth your time and attention.

Forget about the movies that's material stuff that can be replaced. Just don't bother the jerk anymore. He might of did it because he doesn't want you to forget him and for you to keep bugging him. Just stay away from him.

may be he see these movies and remembers you. these cd may be reminding him of his date with and yrself. so he dont want to return. maybe he is seeing how you react you. maybe he is enjoying when he see you are always thinking abt him because of thses cd. its is indeed expensive for him now

hah they're long gone. no offence it's just that, I know of a few realtionship endings that have resulted in cd's and dvd's never been seen again
