The Bible shows very clearly that there is only one God, and yet that there are three personal distinctions in His complex nature, traditionally referred to as "three Persons in the Godhead"—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each is distinct from the others but never acts independently. They are one in nature and purpose. This mystery is called the doctrine of the Trinity, though that term is not used in the Bible. The teaching, however, is present in seed form in the Old Testament and is revealed explicitly in the New Testament. Note passages such as Matthew 28:19; John 10:30, 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

Our finite minds cannot understand or explain this mystery of God, which is nevertheless a fact. We must accept the truths found in the Word of God by faith even though we ourselves cannot comprehend them fully; read Hebrews 11:1,3,6 and 1 Corinthians 2:5-10;14; 13:12. It is really not surprising that the infinite God should be complex in His nature beyond the ability of finite humans to comprehend! This doctrine is absolutely essential to New Testament Christianity. Theologians have pointed out that if it were not true, the Bible would be unreliable, Christ would not be divine, and His death on the cross would not atone for our sins, being merely the death of a martyr.

No. The Father is God. Jesus is the Son of God. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God.

First, is the Bible the word of God? No! It is a compilation of selected stories written by men (sometimes hundreds of years after the death of Christ) and then put together into one volume. So right off the bat your reference material is questionable.
Second, never look for accurate statements in an obituary. Third, translating ANY work from one language to another means there MUST be some "adjustments" to the content as there is NEVER an exact translation. Ask anyone that is fluent in two languages.
These three things make me wonder why any intelligent person can view the Bible as anything but a great guide - not a precise literary piece.

Psalms 83:18 tells you Gods name is Jehovah, John 14:24,28 showes that Jesus and Jehovah are two seperate people. In verse 24 Jesus said 'He that does not love me does not observe my words; and the word that you are hearing is not mine, but belongs to the Father who sent me.' And in verse 28 Jesus himself said "the Father is greater than I." So 1 you can't send yourself somewhere and 2 you can't be greater than yourself right? Holy spirit is referred to as a person but in Acts 2:4 it talks about the day of Pentecost and there were a group of people in a house. It says all the people in the house became filed with holy spirit, so in order for a house full of people to be filled with holy spirit it couldn't very well be a person could it? Holy spirit is Gods active force, his power. Luke 3:22 says after Jesus was baptized holy spirit in bodily shape of a dove came down from heaven on Jesus as he was praying and Luke 4:1 starts out by saying "now Jesus, full of holy spirit". See in that moment Jesus was filled with holy spirit, it wasn't always a part of him but it was Gods active force that was given him.Luke 3:22 also shows Jesus is the Son of God and not God, cause in the last sentance God said "you are my Son the beloved; I have approved you." Hope I was helpful to you.

We are created in the image of God, so we are reflecting at some degree the glory of God.
Christ, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah... are the Holy Spirit, so they reflect all the glory of God. They reflect, they don't possess.

God is the One True God.
The Holy Spirit is His first creation of God originating all existence.
The Manifestations of God are like Perfect Mirrors reflecting the Holy Spirit.

Since it is really very hard for the human mind to conceive these divine realities, the Manifestations of God taught concretely about:

God as the Supreme Father,
The Holy Spirit as the Intermediary between God and Man,
The Manifestions are as His Sons.

So little by little, man becomes more intellectual, more spiritual, he will comprehend more clearly these divine matters.
After all, he who decides to learn spiritual matters will grow in this direction; he who decides to learn material matters will grow in that direction; he who decides not to learn anything will grow in anything. And that is life with the rational human being!

Yes, God is one, but He is also three in one. Confused? I am. The Bible calls this the Trinity. The first account of the Trinity is in Genesis 1 where it says, "Let us make man in our image."

We can't understand it, because we are bound in time and space and have been created as single entities. The Bible says that God is one God who exists as three Persons: The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Each have different roles in the grand scheme of things.

Although we probably won't ever understand this concept this side of heaven, one person explained it to me this way:

Water's composition is H20, but it can exist in three different states: vapor, liquid and solid (ice). The fact that it can assume different states does not change its composition. It is still water, but each of its states performs a different function.

So God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have different functions, yet they are still one God.

What you are reading from is an English version. In the original Greek and Hebrew languages the bible uses several different words for god. One word for (the true) god, a different word for (false) gods, another word for Pharaohs who thought they were gods, and so on. In most English bibles, however, everything is just translated to "god". If the question you're asking is actually more like. "Is Jesus the name of god in Trinidadian christian religion?" The answer is debatable among the many versions of Christianity and you should trust your faith.

They are one, but separate.
It is hard, to understand at first, but that is the way it is.

No- God's name is many things, Yahweh, El Shaddai, etc. The Holy Spirit is known as he Holy Spirit and Jesus is Jesus' name.
