i meet this guy not to long ago and to me we really hit it off. but a while back i thought the same thing about this other guy and just ended up with a broken heart. I'm scared that this will happen again so i try not to think about it. but lately ive been having dreams about him and such things like that. I wanted to wait and see if he said anything to me first or started to make some moves that let me know that he liked me back. I haven't made anything obvious actions that would tell him that i like him. So should i go for it or should i just let my brain tell me what to do. I'm just so depressed I'm just not sure about anything and just want to feel loved.

I say go for it, what have you to lose. You don't have anything going on now, so if he does say no, you won't be any the worse off, than you are now.
If he says yes, then you are off on a new adventure, so its' well worth the risk.
Don't think about what might happen, just live in the now, and see where it leads you.
The longest journey, starts with the first step. So take it, who knows where it will lead you.

IT WOULD BE IGNORANT AND SELF DEFEATING TO HOLD ALL OTHER GUYS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LAST HEARTBREAK. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE BAGGAGE, AND THAT ALONE SHOULD SCARE OFF ALL GUYS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A RELATIONSHIP.
YOU HAVE TO RISK HEARTBREAK, AND YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR HEAT BROKEN A NUMBER OF TIMES BEFORE YOU CAN REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU WANT FROM SOMEONE. YOU LEARN MORE ABOUT YOURSELF WITH EACH EXPERIENCE. WHEN YOU KOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU WANT(WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR 30'S), YOU WILL HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE TO MAKE A GOOD CHOICE.
GO OUT THERE AND GO FOR IT!!! YOU NEED THE EXPERIENCE.

I'd go for it..life is full of heart breaks..and its not healthy to live your "love life" thinking every dudes gonna hurt you. I did it..and..its not worth it..give it a try..If you do get hurt again..it'll only make you stronger and hopfully smart enough to not fall for the same scheme again...So i say stop obsessing over it..and just go for it..

I would take your time. There is no rush. Just let the relationship happen narurally. Do you have mutual friends who might be able to tell you how he feels?
