How many are there? Is God making more? Have any ever died? Where are the ones that dissented with Lucifer? Was there a war in Heaven? Did angels die then? What kind of fighting do angels do, and what does it matter if they don't die? Why would God allow a war in Heaven, and any angel rough-housing?

None. They don't exist, any more that unicorns or leprechauns do. I would have to actually see one, and I would need the whole nine yards( wings, halo, and proof of flight), to believe in such a thing. I'd soon as believe pigs can fly.

Okay, so here's what's up with angels.

God did not create the heavens in the earth (stupid emperor Constantine). God created Lucifer and through him, the angels carried out the will of god. The first sentient being god created and the most powerful being other than god in all creation is Lucifer. Lucifer crafted the other angels as god ordered. Millions of them. When Lucifer split off, many joined him since they saw Lucifer as their father more than God.

All the angels that backed Lucifer where cast down to hell with Lucifer. The war in heaven was not to overthrow god but to prove god's fallibility. If god was infallible then he would stop the war with a mere thought, instead a war raged on. Yes, angel's can die.

God created angels before He created people. People do not become angels after they die. The Bible states that when we are in Heaven, that we shall be "like" the angels. Some people do not know how to read.

I don't know if anyone knows how many angels there are or if God is making new ones. There would be no way to tell unless God told someone and He didn't tell me.

There was a war in Heaven. God created all beings because of love. The kind of love that God has for us is the Greek word "agape". The New Testament was written in Greek and there are 3 different Greek words written in it that were all translated to the English word, "love".

The kind of love that God has for us and that he wants from us is the Greek word "agape". It is a special kind of love that cares more about the other than about oneself. It is the love that Jesus was talking about when He said, "There is no greater love than for a man to give His life for his friend.".

This kind of love requires a decision that is a life long commitment. This requires a free choice. There was a war in Heaven because God wants His angels to "love" Him as well as us. Satan was the first and the best angel that God created. He was the most beautiful, the most intelligent, and the most powerful of all the angels. His name was Lucifer at that time. Lucifer means "light bearer" or "light bringer".

Angels are supposed to obey God. They are His servants. Lucifer was so full of pride about how good he was that he decided (free choice), "I'm as good, as smart, as intelligent as God; I'll decide what I want to do, not what God tells me to do".(Does that ring any bells? It should, as that is what we do too.)

He convinced 1/3rd of the angels to rebel with him. They were cast out of heaven because no one can be in Heaven and disobey God at the same time. His name was changed to Satan, which means, "adversary". The fallen angels are now called demons, and they don't look as beautiful as when they were created (in fact, down right ugly!), although Satan can disquise himself as an angel of light.

Where are the fallen angels?. Different people disagree, but Jesus said, "Satan, your adversary, prowls around like a hungry lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him and he will flee from you.". I would surmise from this that the fallen angels (demons) are on earth, trying to influence us to disobey God and to go to hell. Satan knows that he is going to hell at the end of the millenium and he wants as many humans as possible to be there to rule over them.

Who knows how angels fight? I only care that the 2/3rds of the angels that were loyal to God fight for us to protect us from the demons, and that Jesus's power is so much greater than all of the angels (both good and bad ones) put together, that Jesus could say that if we resist the devil [ do what God says instead of what the world says, or what we (like satan) think is a better idea.] that the devil would flee from us.

The Bible says that angels are "ministering spirits" at Hebrews 1:14. that are sent to minister to those who are to be te heirs of salvation. So, I would say that they are our helpers. The word angel in the Greek is angelos, and that is "messenger".

These beings, referred in the Bible normally as men wearing bright garment and they have masculine names, are given specific assignments, usually to give important instructions to men.( An angel appeared to Mary, Joseph, Zacharias, Elisabeth. )Angels appeared on the tomb when Jesus was resurrected, and in the Revelation to John many times. There were also angels appearing to Daniel, Joshua, and other Old Testament people.

So forth I would say that the angels are spiritual beings who appear and give messages to God's people. And since they are out helpers, they are sent serve us and minister to us.

As I would like to see an angel in person myself, I realize that normally they appear to us when we are asked to do something so great that people would think we are crazy. But if you have been advised by an angel by himself, I think that we have more courage to do what is asked. God has promised to be with us, so if He ask us to do something that big, He would not leave us alone. So as I would like to see an angel, I am also happy that I have not...you know what I mean.

These things happen according to Lord's sovereign assignment and will.

There are many.
Dunno.
No, they are angels (spirits)..you cant kill a spirit.
They are in chains, in darkness.
Yes...if you want to call it that..God just kicked him out of heaven along with the ones that followed him.
No.
They are God's messengers..they battle evil on our behalf...and protect us.
The war was caused by the devil, because sin was found in him (pride)..and he got kicked out of heaven.
