Me and my ex are trying to be friends now that we are with other people and shes pregnant without another guys kid. But the other night when we were talking she started telling me how shes in the mood and started bringing up old times when we did it and stuff. It made me feel uncomfortable and turned on a the same time but I changed the subject. Can we really be friends without wanting more? Is she playing games with me? Can we really be friends?

Theoretically, it is possible for ex's to be friends. I don't know if it applies in your case. You seems to be "responding" to the memories in a way you don't want to be responding to them.
It is possible when the whole thing is completely behind for both of you, when you decided that basically you are two good people but the relationship between the two of you is better not exist, and you both have good reasons.
If it's a question of will power, I'd say - don't bother, betters stay away from each other, spend you energy on other things than stupid will power. However, if you're both sure you don't want the relationship to happen, then friendship can work fine. After all, to some degree, you care about each other.

Sure they can, but in my opinion, it usually just does not work. It seems very difficult to try being friends with someone who youve been sexually active with, or, someone youve just been intimate with. Basically,to be JUST friends and nothing else, takes time, thouught, and a great load of maturity. Since she's pregnant with some other guy's child, she seems like a slut to me, since she's pregnant with some other guy's child and still talking about sex with you. Dump her, and forget her. You don't need that in your life, especially if you are not grown yet. She's a bird.. Kick her *** to the curb. Hope i helped :)

Yes in time you and your ex can be friends without the sexual thing attached! There is NO way I want to have sex with my ex wife, we have been divorced since 1982. Do I respect and love her? Damn straight I do! Love as in a true friend who has shared a life with me, not as in sexual or marriage sort of love. She is one of my oldest friends and has known me since 1975. I mean that counts for a lot!

Sounds like shes playing games..or just cant make up her mind between the 2 of you. Most ex's cant be just friends..if there's still feelings there. anf if you can be JUST friends..its hard..almost impossible..It really doesnt sounds like she has her priorities straight..at all..she's hinting at messing around with you..while shes pregnant with another dudes kid....yeah..i wouldnt mess with that...

Wow, so its sad that she was putting the moves on you while she is prego with another mans child. The attraction will always be there for the both of you, but I think it can be done. Its harder when you had a long relationship but if your friends just let her know that her behavior is not cool!!

yes you can be friends, but you both have to set some guidelines. If she is always bringing up the past and how it was, making you uncomfortable, maybe she isn't ready to continue a friendship.

My ex and I are friends and both very happy with new people. Once in awhile he tries to get fresh but as long as one person holds out it's possible to just remain friends.

I am living proof that this scenario can happen. My ex and I are now best friends. (Although I won't co-sign a loan for her) We still hook up but usually just for lunch or a movie.

to be honest i think its impossible only when u and that person were really really serious and so much in love and when your with them u think about all the stuff ya did together and the feelings come back...but...if ya werent serious and stuff and were just *** buddys and stuff like that then ya maybe
