I like this site, it has saved me hundreds of dollars because sometimes I have caught my Vet trying to get me to do un necessary things but since I educate myself about dog health problems I can call thier bluffs and I already know what treatments are available etc... This site is awesom and has tons of information!! Hope it helps you as much as it helps me and my dogs.

If your dog is a pure breed there should be no problem as there are typically breed specific clubs that discuss everything about a chosen breed including health issues, history, origin, etc. online or in books. There may also be a club or rescue near you specializing in your chosen breed. If you have a mixed breed you'll need to research both breeds. Hope this helped!
