No, I have cats and I love them a lot too. There is no such thing as loving them too much. They give unconditional love and are ALWAYS there for you. They will never be mad at you, never hurt you or break up with you lol. So not to worry, you are normal : )

It's not possible to love your dog too much. Dogs love us more that we will ever be able to love them so go on, love your dog..

yes, you can love your dog too much when you stop thinking of him/her as a dog and start treating him like a person. . Otherwise, no you can't love a pet too much. they are your family

i just lost my 4 dogs in a fire when my house burnt down. i loved my dogs way more then u can imagine. they were my constant companions, and each had her own individual personalities Cocoa: Momma Dog(cleaned the others stopped fights)CocoaBear
Causha:Fiesty,Fun , and just full of herself(the world revolved around Tish)
Shocka:A lover quiet and calm, but her looks scared everyone(Pudge loved to eat lol)
Kelsey:our little stray that came to the house was hyper always wanting the others to play always asking for love.Telse used to talk with her feet lol
I miss them ty for letting me talk about them

nope, I agree with the others you can never love your dog too much :o) I love my 3 pups too, hence my account name :o) To some people they are just dogs but to me they are like little kids that wear fur coats, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly; I can understand them just fine though ;o)

Yes, I also love my dogs as much as you do. My family(including me) treat them like the members of our family.

i use ny dog's name on line and for my e mail . I love her and am devoted to her and spoil her and buy her toys and clothes and take her everywhere with me and rock her to sleep at night and let her sit on my lap and feed her when I eat . she eats first and I find that works for us as then she is happy and quiet while I eat she is really great and i play with her and take her out to play and talk to her all the time
