I saw a few bull terriers which most have been on steroids...90 pounders plus!!!! What happened to the 50 pounders I grew up owning a loving???? The bull terrier is the greatest dog for me, but they'd be dangerous at these insane sizes...to themselves and other dogs...they weren't meant to be that big!!!!

Unfortunately this is happening to alot of breeds and my beloved german shepherd is one of them. The german shepherd when recognized was considered a medium sized dog at around 75 pounds tops. Now they are weighing in at over 130 pounds and being bred for size by many breeders. In doing so, they are losing the longevity and healthiness they used to have :( Some people jsut need to realize that bigger isn't always better :(
