Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and Jehovah are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty Jehovah created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

God revealed his name as "YHWH" (Exodus 3:14).
God is ONE God who is 3 Divine Persons (the Holy Trinity).
The Holy Trinity is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.
The word "Jehovah" is a mispronunciation of the Hebrew "YHWH". It was introduced in the 17th century. We should not use "Jehovah" since it is not God's name.
The "Jehovah's Witnesses" claim they are the "true christians" but yet they reject the Divinity of Jesus. They falsely teach that Jesus is a created being.. Michael the Archangel.
Jesus is the Lord our God.

The primary OT name is YHWH, Jehovah. Meaning Self -existent One Ex 3:14 I AM WHO I AM. Elohim, Strong One Adonai, Lord; Father (Abba Father)
There are others, El Elyon-Most High, El Roi-Strong One, El Shaddai-Almighty God, Gen 17:1-20. El Olam-Everlasting God Is 40:28 ....... many, many others.
Jesus- Son of Man, Luke 19:10; Jesus, Matt 1:21; Son of David, Mark 10:47; Son of God, Matt 16:16,26:61-64; Adonai-Lord, Matt 22:43-45; King of Kings and Lord of lords, Rev 19:16; John 1:1 Word; Emanuel Is 7:14.Matt 1:23; Redeemer, Job 19:25
The trinity is somewhat hard for our human minds. Think of the Sun. It is so bright we can't look at it--God; The light of the sun--Jesus; the warmth of the sun (we can't see)-- the Holy Spirit.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one.

God's name is Jehovah. In the original Hebrew texts it was found over 7,000 times. Unfortunately, His name has been removed from many Bibles. I am going to provide you with a link to an article that discusses the Name of God. There are many scriptures through out that you can look up in your own Bible. I hope you will take the time to read this, because it will provide an answer to your question.

For many years, the word that was used for god was "Jehovah." After careful research, language scholars realized that the more accurate Jewish name was "Yahweh." We are not exactly sure of the pronunciation, because ancient Hebrew did not use vowels. Only Jehovah Witnesses incorrectly use this name, today.
Jesus was a Jewish rabbi about 2000 years ago in Palestine. Many Christians believe him to be part of a triune concept of God.

the name of God is God. Jesus is his only begotten son.
Jehovah is a different religion and I understand their followers use the name Jehovah for God.
I wouldn't mind doing some quoting but I don't know which of the several holy books you would be using.

Exodus 6:1-3 So YHWH/Yahweh/Jehovah said to Moses; "Now you will see what I shall do to Pharaoh, because on account of a strong hand he will send them away and..And God went on to speak to Moses and to say to him: "I am Jehovah." And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name YHWH/Yahweh/Jehovah I did not make it known to them.
2Corinthians 3:17 Now YHWH/Jehovah is the Spirit, and where the spirit of YHWH/Jehovah is there is freedom.
Jesus said; "Hear O Israel, YHWH/Jehovah our God is One YHWH/Jehovah.
Matthew 3:17 Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: "This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved."
Matthew 17:5 While he was yet speaking, look! a bright cloud overshadowed them, and , look! a voice out of the cloud, saying; ""This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him," (referring to Jesus)
Jesus said.."Father, glorify your name." Therefore a voice came out of heaven; "I both glorified it, and will glorify it again." John 12:28.
The English is Jesus, and Hebrew is Yeshua. It means 'salvation from Jehovah.' Hence, Jesus and Jehovah, or Yeshua and Yahweh.
