A good guy says/thinks he is all that a woman can ever want, is smart, etc., but doesn’t have a girlfriend and can’t get a girlfriend. Women say his problem is because of him stating these facts/thinking like this(his arrogance). What about all these other guys that dress to impress and are conceited, arrogant, whatever, etc. They come with the worst pickup lines and try to make themselves look better than they actually are and end up getting the girl. Please explain the difference between the two, because I don’t see it. Who would you pick/why?

I would pick the good guy .For some reason alot of girls are attracted to the a** H***** but i married a nerd and hes the best lover ive ever had out of quite a few.

It's more of a sameness than a difference. The fact that a person (guy or girl) would go around saying that they are all a woman or man could ever want, that they are intelligent and (fill in positive attribute), that can make them look pretty conceited. Not a good thing. Now, if the person SHOWS that they are all that could be desired in a girl/boyfriend, that they are smart, well-read, have a good sense of humor, even-tempered, MODEST, and try not to brag about themselves all the time ... now THAT would be someone hard to resist, and hard to say anything bad about. That's the person I'd definitely pick in a heartbeat.

There isnt any one 'formula' ...not really ...for why some men get chosen more over and some get passed over except to say that there are a myriad of reasons. A few off hand major reasons are appearances of health (good genetics) exhuberance, happy attititude, familiar qualities (such as men in their life theyve come to communicate and deal with) having a highter or equal station to theirs, physical attraction and chemical attraction. If she likes a quiet man, or a boisterous or friendly man....on and on. There is just not one thing or things a man possesses that causes a greater attraction of women except to say perhaps exposure. If the man allows himself to be around more women, greeting and being confident inside around women/men/children of any age...it projects leadership qualities and that is quite desirable to any woman.
Maybe or maybe not. This is a mere generalization but I hope it's helpful in any case.

even if you're smart and everything, you should know how to treat a girl right. the girl will, first, be impressed by how well you treat us and pick-uplines and stuff. then we'll look for the the other attributes like smart, etc..
