I'm just north of Utah, in Southern Idaho and the fry sauce they use up here is 50/50 ketchup and mayo. Some places add stuff like a dash of Tabasco, or seasoning salt, or dry mustard.

LOL...I live in Utah and nobody but us Utahns seem to know what fry sauce is! When I make it at home, I just use mayo and ketchup and sometimes add a little pickle relish if I want it to taste like Crown Burgers fry sauce.

I don't know if they use anything special in theirs, but it's just Mayonnaise and Ketchup mixed together. There's nothing like a Crown burger with some fries and some good Utah fry sauce. Good luck!

I'm sorry. I'm Southern, love to fry, and can make your mama scream over a sauce. But what exactly is "fry sauce"? Is it what we call gravy?
Please elaborate, because I'm quite fascinated, and would like to give your question a shot.
OOHHH!!!
You mean dip sauce according to these answers so far.
Yeah, 1 cup mayo
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp horseradish
dash of tabasco
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt to taste.
Sorry. Crossed languages in the good ole USA! ;)

i would think that it is mayo and ketchup. But maybe they make their own, fresh mayonaisse. So try that then add the ketchup.
or you can try the "calve" brand called: fritesause (or something like that)
or try this recipe at this site (wouldn't let me copy and paste):
http://www.belgianfries.com/index.cfm?Module=recept2
plus the fries that serve the mayo with it, is a belgium thing. They first came out with french fries and that's what they it their fries with, unlike the american condiment: kethup.
ok? hope that helps.

Ketchup
Mayonaise
Mustard
Sugar
Combine... Don't do the nasty pickle relish crap. That's sick. Make is nice and smooth, not chunky.
