4 to 6 inch chubs and suckers work quite well for northerns and muskies. When using tip-ups, keep the bait about 2-3 feet off the bottom and hook them behind the dorsal fin. I found a lot of answers regarding ice fishing on www.iceshanty.com. Hope this helps.

about a 6 inch sucker minnow or tulibee and a steel leader with 20 lb plus braided nylon line with a good tip up. If the minnow is to big and sets of your tip up , trim the minnows tail with a knife so he cant swim as well.

1/2oz swedish pimple with a eyeball (from a fish ) work it in 4 to 8 inch thrusts and a sort of rateling motion ,any thing will chow it

Large live chubs work great. Though, you get a lot of pike too. I'd check fishing laws to make sure chubs are legal there.
