My friend (and I) want to know how long you should wait after getting a girl's phone number before asking them out?

2 days, 3 days, less, or more?

Has to be less than 2 otherwise its too late. try to keep it less than around the 36 hour mark.

whatever you tell her . if you say you are going to call her in 3 days , call her in 3 days , if 2 then call in 2 . Just don't take the number and let it drag on or call her a week after wards. Then its not worth it cause she would have thought you were no longer interested.

Definitely don't call the day she gives you the number--desperate! Wait at least 24 hours before calling. You don't want her to think that you're not thinking about her....

don't wait - be a man and do what you want - i always called right away - the girl was always psyched and it always went fine...the first date.

you never know if there will be a second.

But I'm a stud ;-)
