there's a guy that really likes me but he is kinda the disgusting type and i am not. he is a couple years older than me but he is also really sweet. he has asked me out about 7 times and i don't know if i should go or not. each time he is nice/sweet i trust him more now the only thing stoppong me from going out with him is my mom. and i just found out he is planning on going to the army(he's 17 turns 18 in november) i am so confused right now what should i do. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Just be his friend,you enjoy his company and that is all.To put it blunt he wants in your knickers/pants before he goes away.Let him go,and reassess the situation when he gets back.You can always write to him.Make it clear you only want to be friends.I am a mum,and if I was your mum I would tell you to keep away from him.You have your whole life in front of you.Never settle for someone who is as you say "disgusting".You deserve better in life.Listen to your mum,I hate to say this but mums are usually right.She wants the very best for you,that is her job,to lead you on the right path in life.Take care and concentrate on your future.

Tell him youll talk about it when he gets back from the army. The Army WILL change him. Change his personality, his looks, His values and more. Tell him you will always be his friend and wish him all the luck but right now you are realy in to just being friends. Tell him your realy lucky to have a friend like him and your injoying his friendship, Just say Im not ready to make a desition like that right now but I will let you know when and If I am. he will get the point, and move on.
Never lesson to your "mum" about a dating relationship!!! every girl I brought over to my "mums" house shes found something wrong with. dress is to short, dosent talk enuff, talks too much ex... But mum is right I bet he wants to get down your pants.

I have no idea what you mean by disgusting. His mannerism? His looks? His body? His whole personality? or just everything about him?
EDIT: ah ok, I get it. If you like him then go for it! If you're not 100% then maybe you're not ready yet, or maybe you don't like enough to date him.
